Zendoryu Self Defense Academy Australia is affiliated with Professor Paul Bowman, United Kingdom as well as Professor George Dillman, United States. Grandmaster Colin Underwood is the Chief Instructor for Australasia.
Colin Underwood
Grandmaster
Colin grew up in Leicester, England where he began learning Kyokushin karate at the age of 22. Since then he has been teaching for 46 years, currently holding a 7th degree Grandmaster in Kyoshu-Jitsu, a black belt in Shoto-Kai, and a 4th degree black belt in Okinawan Kempo Karate.
Jennifer Sievers
Master
Jennifer trained for 20 years in Go-Kan-Ryu Karate where she transferred to Zendoryu in 2019 and has progressed through constant study displaying full commitment and has reached 4th dan Master degree.
Chris Schwabe
Chris trained in Go-Kan-Ryu Karate for 8 years where he also transferred to Zendoryu in 2019 as a 1st degree black belt and has since progressed to a 3rd degree black belt.
Jason Underwood
Jason has been training since the age of 10 years with his father Colin, now totalling 40+ years, initially practicing Kempo Karate obtaining a black belt as well as earning his black belt in Aikido at the same time, before progressing to 3rd degree black belt in Zendoryu.
